Grace Hering joined Bromberg, Kohler Maya & Petre as a legal assistant in July 2022. Prior to this, she interned with the National Association of Attorneys General, DC-based immigration firm Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, and Vermont-based private investigation firm VTPrivateye. She also spent 9 months living and working in Costa Rica in 2017 before beginning her undergraduate studies. She is excited to continue her work in the immigration field and work hands-on with clients in both English and Spanish.

Grace graduated summa cum laude from Middlebury College in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies. As an undergraduate, Grace studied abroad in Athens, Greece, where she dedicated time towards learning about European immigration and citizenship. In her final semester, Grace completed a thesis identifying the social and political networks behind ancient Roman citizenship ideals and comparing those networks to ones in the present-day United States through the works of Cicero.
